Diet for Heart Healthy

Dishes are flavorful savory flavors coupled with many teasing tempting the appetite, unfortunately most of the types of foods are actually not good for our health. The content of fats and oils contained in these foods in excess is not good for health especially for our heart.

Dishes that contain coconut milk and foods high in calories, combined with sweet cakes are inviting tastes can not be denied to taste. But if they are not good at counting calories that enter the body, not just weight, our health also needs to be seen especially heart health.

Here are tips on eating right for health, especially heart health.
  1. Avoid fried foods, especially foods that are fried in coconut oil or animal fat. For replacement use corn oil or peanut oil in an amount not excessive. Better to cultivate it by grilling, baking, boiling, steaming.
  2. When the frying process can not be avoided, use as little oil as possible and drain afterwards.
  3. Avoid foods with high cholesterol levels such as shrimp, crab, squid, clams. So also with a high fat foods that have been processed / packaged, such as sausages and corned beef. Expand to eat fish than any other animal.
  4. For those of you who are at risk of high cholesterol should avoid organ meats like brain, liver, tongue or tripe.
  5. Foods that contain lots of fiber consumed is very good. Should multiply eat vegetables and fruits.
  6. Limit use of salt and avoid the use of flavorings and foods preserved with salt.
  7. Limit foods / drinks that are too sweet.
  8. Increase consumption of grains, or beans (not fried). Soybeans such as tofu, tempeh and other processed nuts is recommended.
  9. In lieu of full cream milk use skim milk.
  10. As much as possible also avoid foods that contain coconut milk
